These independently rotating vanes fit onto the Vanguard Central Shaft, to form an effective anti-climb barrier.
Vanes are a key component of the Vanguard Rotating Anti Climb Guard system.
Two of these individual vanes interlock to form a rotating pair and 13 vanes are required for each one metre length of Vanguard anti-climb barrier.
The interlocked pairs of vanes form a bulky and discouraging curved six pronged barrier some 400mm in overall diameter, which is designed to be difficult to climb over, without the risk of causing life threatening injury.
When purchasing the Vanguard system in 2 metre lengths, the vanes (13 per metre) are supplied along with the central shaft, joining spigot, etc., so extra vanes are normally only required to make up or infill small sections of Barrier.
Manufactured from an aluminium alloy, the tensile strength of these vanes is increased beyond normal tensile levels during the manufacturing and forming process.
Vanguard vanes are rust and weatherproof and are suitable for use in all types of environment, from harsh environs such as coastal locations to polluted environments such as cities or industrial locations.
Optional Vanguard Extras:
Colour Finish available – as a chargeable optional extra, vanes can be over painted in any standard RAL colour – with a baked on powder coat paint. Typically painting lead-time is 7-10 days, although we may be able to achieve a faster turnaround for urgent requirements – call for details and prices; 01273 475500
