The shaft security end fixing set consists of an appropriate hex bolt, shear nut and washer. It provides a simple way to terminate the end of an Anti-climb barrier run to prevent unauthorised removal of the rotating cups or vanes. Optimum for use with both Roller Barrier and Vanguard anti climb barriers.

The Shaft Security End Fixing Set includes;
1 x M6x40mm Hex bolt
1 x M6 Security Shear Nut
1 x Galvanised Washer (OD:48mm ID:29mm)
The pack is simple to use, you’ll just need 2 standard spanners to tighten the fixing
Apply one spanner to the bolt head, the other to the nut and tighten.
When the appropriate torque is reached, the hex drive head on the Shear-Nut will break off, leaving the threaded conical collar in place, with no way to undo it and therefore preventing removal of the bolt fixing.
